Beyond The Parks: Relaxing In The “Outside World” – Day 3
This morning Marc and I were up early, so we watched the sunrise over the lake from our balcony.
After everyone got around, we Ubered to the World Food Trucks and the Visitor Flea Market.
There are around 40-50 food trucks to choose from, although not all of them are open every day. Some of the choices included Pizza, Burgers, Seafood, and Smoothies, as well as plenty of Puerto Rican or Latin-inspired trucks. Dad got an iced coffee. Then Mom, Dad, and I got Empadillas from one of the Puerto Rican Trucks while Marc got a sandwich from another one. Everything we had was good. I would like to come back on a future trip, but I think next time I would come on a weekend so maybe more choices would be available.
Once we were done eating, we decided to check out the flea market. Marc and Dad didn’t want to shop so they sat at the bar and had a beer, while Mom and I wandered around.
After we were done shopping, we headed back to the resort to spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing by the pool, before watching the sunset from our balcony.
This evening, Mom, Marc, and I went down to play mini golf, which is located at the entrance to our resort, while Dad stayed in the room to read and relax.
Tomorrow morning Marc and I are heading to Hollywood Studios to see if they have any more of their Christmas decorations up yet.
