October’s “Not So Scary” Food and Fun Trip – Day 7
I slept in a little bit, then got on the first bus to Disney Springs to get a Starbucks Coffee and wander around a little bit. As I got off the bus, I saw a sign for The Disney Springs Art Walk. I had noticed some of the murals before but didn’t realize they were part of this exhibit. It was cool. I love Disney Springs in the morning where there are no crowds, unless you are near Gideons Bakehouse. I walked by there around 10:00 and the line was extremely long, in fact, it wrapped around the corner and down several hundred more feet. Around 10:30 I made my way back to Riverside, via boat, to relax in my room for a while and figure out what I wanted to do for the rest of the day.

Early afternoon, I decided I wanted to head to Hollywood Studios for lunch. I was hungry for a Ronto Wrap, from Ronto Roasters. The wrap has Roasted Pork, Grilled Pork Sausage, Peppercorn Sauce, and Tangy Coleslaw inside of Pita Bread. As I was walking into the park, I decided to see if there was any availability at Oga’s Cantina and was able to snag a reservation for about 30 minutes later. I mobile ordered my wrap so it was ready when I arrived at the restaurant, then found a sunny spot in Galaxy’s Edge to enjoy it and people-watch until it was time to check in for my reservation. Oga’s Cantina is such a cool little bar in Galaxy’s Edge that is modeled after a Mos Eisley Cantina. I always have a good time when I go there and they have all kinds of fun drinks. I wasn’t in the mood for a sweet drink, so I ordered the Gold Squadron Lager. If you are a Star Wars fan you need to put this on your must-do list, but be aware they do not serve food, other than a couple of small snacks, so don’t go here hungry or expecting to order a meal.
After I left Oga’s I made a stop at Baseline Taphouse for a beer flight, then slowly made my way out of the park and got on the Skyliner headed for Epcot.
Once inside Epcot, I made my way to the Mexico Pavilion, as I wanted to see if there was a table available at La Cava del Tequila De San Angel Inn. I was hungry for their chips and queso, which are amazing, and can only be ordered if seated at one of the tables. I lucked out and was able to get a table, so I ordered chips and queso and a beer. La Cava is a cool little Tequila Bar in the Mexico Pavilion. It is very popular and usually has a line out the door. Not everyone is waiting for a table, the majority are just getting drinks at the bar to take with them. Now, I am not a big fan of Tequila, so I stick to beer when I go there…but if you love Tequila or a good Margarita, this is the place to get it as they have an extensive menu of both.
After I was done eating, I was full and tired so I decided to head back to my resort, where I spent the evening relaxing in my room.
